Esta feição é parte das convenções geológicos-estruturais.Feições Lineagênicas representa grandes descontinuidades, apresentando uma distribuição bimodal bem definida pelos trendes que cortam o embasamento, as coberturas sedimentares, que são fotointerpretadas através de imagens de satélite de trabalhos segundários realizados no estado, onde estas feições lineagênicas balizam altos e baixos estruturais, os vulcanitos atravis de estruturas circulares, controla o posicionamento de plutonitos graníticos e alcalinas, estruturas circulares associadas a intrusões graníticas e sieníticas ocorrem ao norte do estado. Os tipos de estruturas que ocorrem ao norte do estado são: Graben do Cachimbo, Alto Estrutural Juruena-Teles Pires, Grabem dos Caiabis, Alto Estrutural Eugênia_Arinos, Sinclinal São Pedro, Graben da Serra Formosa e Sinclinal do Ariranha.
